When the ABCMS system was introduced, we briefly relied solely on it; however, the process often involved delays. Under ABCMS, new hires could begin working before their reports were finalized, with continued employment contingent on the results coming back clear.
Unfortunately, we experienced a serious incident when a pending report revealed issues that placed our community at risk. In response, we re-engaged Research Services to run separate checks, allowing us to make informed decisions before receiving the ABCMS report.

By ensuring we know a candidate’s history before they start, we have avoided the significant costs—both in time and resources—of having to terminate employment after the fact. Whether someone is with us for a few weeks or several months, the added layer of safety and efficiency provided by Research Services has proven invaluable.
